Luke Lynndale is a fast-rising touring comedian whose authentic voice and emotional connection with audiences have made him a standout across North America. Known for his quick delivery and truly original material, Luke’s comedy is organic, unpredictable, and laugh-out-loud hilarious.
He has performed coast-to-coast in Canada, with highlights including NXNE (Toronto), Edmonton Fringe, and headlining spots at The Basement (Winnipeg), Jokers Comedy Club (Toronto), Volt Raceway (Bowmanville), Windsor Comedy Club, and Halifax Live Comedy Club. In the U.S., he’s taken the stage at the Tower City Comedy Festival (Texas), Louisiana Big Gator Comedy Festival (New Orleans), Finger Lakes Comedy Festival (NY), and The Comedy Chateau International Comedy Festival (Los Angeles).
Luke has brought his energetic sets to top clubs such as the Hollywood Improv (Los Angeles), Yuk Yuk’s (Calgary & Ottawa), Krackpots Comedy Club (Ohio), and Comedy Bar (Toronto). His two albums, Luke Lynndale Live (2023) and Club Sets (2024), showcase his sharp wit and unique point of view — and are available for streaming now.
A graduate of The Second City Sketch Writing Program and the Montreal School of Performing Arts, Luke is also co-founder of the improv duo DUO DAD (alongside his father) and founding member of the Shakespeare improv troupe We Happy Few. His stage acting credits include Betrayal and Arsenic and Old Lace, and he recently completed two film roles in 2023.
Luke began his comedy journey in the ’90s at Comedyworks in Montreal, took a long hiatus, and returned stronger than ever in 2017. Since then, he’s become one of Toronto’s hardest-working comedians — performing hundreds of shows annually and producing over 100 events each year, including the launch of the Danforth Comedy Festival in 2024.
He’s shared the stage with renowned comedians including Nathan Macintosh, The Sklar Brothers, Laurie Kilmartin, Dat Phan, Steven Rodgers, and Maria Bamford.
